This day retreat is focused on rest, relaxation & rejuvenation. You will experience how taking the time to rest well can have a profound effect on healing mental, physical and emotional well-being.
The practice of yoga in its many teachings can help us to find balance in our often hectic and busy lives. We will look at how this can and often does affect our health over time.
With Proper Rest being one of the five pillars of yoga, you will learn principles and practice techniques to help let go of stress, anxiety and overwhelm. This will include asana and pranayama practice, guided relaxation, and meditation.
By the end of the day, you will have experienced how vital deep rest is and you will have learned some simple, techniques to practise at home to keep you less stressed, rested, and full of vitality!
A light vegetarian lunch, afternoon tea and homemade cake are included.
