Mum & Baby Yoga
These classes offer all new mums an opportunity to move, breathe and relax with some gentle yoga practices to help recover post-birth. Yoga will help to strengthen and support your post-partum body, breathing practices to help calm and soothe your mind and guided relaxation to support your sleep and restore your vitality, all with your baby by your side.
At the start of each session, we have a welcome offering you an opportunity to share your new mum experiences, your wins, and your challenges in a caring and understanding environment.
Sessions may vary to suit the needs or mood of the group at any moment – but our focus is on mums exercising mindfully with some opportunity to integrate movements and massage for babies.
You can expect babies to feed, sleep, be changed, cry, or be cuddled; all whilst we practice yoga in a warm, friendly, and supportive environment.
These classes are a wonderful way to connect with other mums and babies and make new friends!
Suitable from 6 weeks post vaginal delivery or 8 to 12 weeks post caesarean. Ideally, please check with your midwife or doctor following a caesarean before booking.
Classes are booked in blocks of 5 weeks in advance. Please bring your own yoga mat, a cushion and blanket for relaxation, and a bottle of water.
